Gr 1-3-There's a new computer teacher at Ella Mentary School and she's a hard-core nerd and proud of it. Granted, Mrs. Yonkers is a bit erratic, and some of her inventions are a little wild. A runaway turtle cam? A computer that's powered by a giant hamster wheel? Still, she makes up for everything with boundless enthusiasm. However, joie de vivre may not be enough to save them from catastrophic disaster. This latest wacky entry in the "My Weird School" series (HarperCollins) is read with enthusiasm by Jared Goldsmith, who makes each character unique and aptly captures the kid-friendly humor of the book. VERDICT This is a much-loved silly series and this audiobook will be a popular choice.-"Teresa Bateman, Brigadoon Elementary, Federal Way, WA"
